I wanted a mate for the man. The expression and closed eyes reflect a similar lot in life, while the stark dark background emphasizes her as a person worth noticing. The geometry is also similar: simple, strong. I appreciate the opportunity of getting to know the woman and man through drawing them. They may have lived a lifestyle maby not to defferent from mine, and I’ve come to realize that to know that path has been one of the greatest benefits of my life.
